Senator Ningi stresses importance of culture, tradition in promoting unity, diversity

Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District of Bauchi State has stressed the importance of culture and traditions in solidifying and uniting people in spite of the notable differences.
The Senator made the assertion during a well-attended cultural event held on April 21, 2025, aimed at celebrating the rich heritage and unity of the community of Tapshin in Tafawa Balewa LGA of the State.
The Senator stressed that the move is a remarkable display of support for grassroots development and cultural preservation, therefore donating the sum of ₦3 million to the people as a way of showcasing their culture and tradition.
Abdul Ahmed Ningi was not physically present at the event due to other pressing engagements, he was ably represented by a high-powered delegation comprising trusted and respected members of his team.
Among them were Hon. Alhassan Ahmed Ningi, a prominent grassroots mobilizer and political figure; Hon. Galadima Abba Itas, a well-known community leader; Ambassador Imran Abdullahi, a passionate advocate for youths and women development; and several other influential dignitaries and stakeholders who conveyed the Senator’s goodwill and message of solidarity.

The ₦3 million donation was presented as part of Senator Abdul Ningi’s broader commitment to uplifting rural communities, promoting cultural values, and supporting local initiatives that foster unity and development.
The gesture was warmly received by the people of Tapshin, who expressed deep appreciation for the Senator’s consistent presence in their lives—whether through empowerment programs, infrastructural projects, or direct support such as this.
Speaking on behalf of the Senator, Hon. Alhassan Ahmed Ningi emphasized that this support was not just about financial assistance, but about recognizing the importance of tradition, community identity, and the power of unity in progress.
