Senator Lalong condoles former Deputy Speaker Wase over loss of elder sister

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has condoled the former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives and Member Representing Wase Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Idris Wase over the death of his elder sister Hajiya Fatima who died at the age of 88.

Senator Lalong who visited the residence of Hon. Idris Wase in Abuja described the deceased as a virtues and hardworking woman who served her family and community with passion and compassion.

He said demise creates a big vacuum in the family as her good deeds, words of advice and comfort will be greatly missed.

Lalong while commiserating with Rt. Hon. Wase and the entire family said although she will be greatly missed, God’s will has to be accepted as death is inevitable.

He asked God to comfort the family, forgive her sins and grant her soul eternal rest.

Responding, Rt. Hon. Wase thanked Senator Lalong for his show of love and concern to the family, describing it as comforting.

He described her as a woman of peace who was selfless and committed to upholding godly virtues.
