Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the state on the commencement of the new Islamic year 1447 AH.
Governor Radda described the new Hijra year as a period of spiritual renewal and reflection for the Muslim faithful.
This was contained in a statement Wednesday by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Katsina State.
“I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on this auspicious occasion of the new Islamic year. The Hijra marks a significant turning point in Islamic history and serves as a reminder of the Prophet’s (PBUH) journey of sacrifice, perseverance, and hope,” the governor stated.
Governor Radda urged citizens to embrace the lessons of the Hijra by fostering unity, peace, and mutual understanding across religious and ethnic lines.
The Governor stressed that lasting development and progress can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
Governor Radda prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings upon Katsina State and its people in the new Islamic year.
