Nnewi needs special attention, Anambra APC governorship candidate, Prince Ukachukwu declares

The gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, has assured that the industrial town of Nnewi would attract special attention from his government if elected.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd of party members, supporters, community leaders, business leaders, Industrialists and residents, Ukachukwu underscored the strategic importance of the commercial city of Nnewi in Anambra’s socio-economic development, promising to give the town a special attention by providing critical infrastructure such as good roads and constant supply of electricity.
Ukachukwu who described Nnewi as critical to Anambra’s economic future said: “Nnewi people are known for business and entrepreneurship all over the world. We must give it special attention to enable artisans, industrialists, business men and women, to thrive and shine for optimal production”.
The gubernatorial candidate outlined novel initiatives he would deploy to revitalize Nnewi through cutting-edge infrastructure, strategic urban development, and economic renaissance.
He paid glowing tribute to Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, a great son of Nnewi, and promised to implement Ubah’s security strategy that made Nnewi the most secured city in Anambra state while he was alive, emphasizing his commitment to uniting Anambra under the APC’s progressive vision which Sen. Ubah believed in while he was here.
Speaking at the event, the APC Deputy Guber Candidate, Sen Uche Ekwunife, urged Ndi Nnewi to rally behind Ukachukwu, describing him as one on a mission to liberate Anambra from bad leadership under APGA.
“Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is a game changer. With the right leadership attitude that we yearn for as Ndi Anambra whose industrial capacity is world class Ukachukwu will turn the State around.With APC, we will secure federal resources, grants, and opportunities to transform our state,”Ekwunife said, highlighting priorities like basic infrastructure, security, and agricultural growth as the focus of Prince Ukachukwu.
Continuing she said:”With him as Governor, we will build a state that works for Ndi Anambra”.
A large number of party faithfuls, supporters, youth groups, and stakeholders defied the heavy downpour to attend the campaign rally, signalling the people’s show of love for the party in Nnewi North.
