Taraba at 34: TASBISA Executive Vice Chairman Josiah Habu felicitates with Governor Kefas on anniversary

The Executive Vice Chairman, Taraba State Bioentreprenuership Innovation and Solution Agency, (TASBISA), Mr. Josiah Bitrus Habu, has joined other prominent citizens to felicitate with Governor Agbu Kefas on the 34 years anniversary of the creation of Taraba State.

Mr. Habu, a bio-agro solution expert, was inaugurated as Executive Vice Chairman of TASBISA, along other management members on 18th August, 2025 by Governor Kefas.

A MESSAGE OF HOPE: CELEBRATING TARABA @34

Today, as we celebrate Taraba State’s 34th anniversary, we stand together in reflection of hope, progress, and our cherished unity in diversity.

I am honoured to join this historic moment to commemorate TARABA @34, a milestone that speaks to our resilience, shared dreams, and unwavering commitment to a brighter future.

From the solid foundation laid by our founding fathers, we are building a beautiful Taraba, a state of promise and opportunity for our children and generations yet unborn.

We honour the contributions of our past and present leaders: Rev. Jolly Nyame, who laid the groundwork with infrastructure like the Jolly Nyame Stadium and promoted peace; Danbaba Suntai, whose visionary leadership advanced connectivity through the Taraba Air project and beautified key landmarks; Darius Dickson Ishaku, who elevated education, making Taraba a leader in this sector; and Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, whose people centred policies, including free basic education, agricultural development, and infrastructure revival, continue to propel Taraba forward.

As we mark this day, let us renew our pledge to foster peace, embrace togetherness, and harness our abundant natural resources for sustainable growth. Together, we will ensure that the seeds we plant today blossom into a legacy of greatness for our beloved state.
