Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong, has congratulated the President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Mr. David Daser, on the occasion of his birthday.
Senator Lalong described Mr. Daser as an innovative and patriotic professional who has consistently demonstrated passion and dedication to the development of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
He recalled Mr. Daser’s outstanding service as the pioneer Director General of the Plateau State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (PICTDA) during the Rescue Administration, where he laid a solid foundation for ICT advancement, digital innovation, and youth empowerment across the State.
Senator Lalong noted that Mr. Daser’s leadership at Digital Bridge Institute has continued to reflect excellence, creativity, and commitment to national development, particularly in building the capacity of young Nigerians to compete in the modern digital economy.
In reflecting on Daser’s contributions, Lalong said he has become a voice in the ICT sector in Nigeria by doing a lot towards nurturing a generation of young people who are excelling in technology and innovation.
He also commended his humility, intelligence and passion for service which continues to stand him out as a shining example of leadership.
Senator Lalong prayed that God grants Mr. Daser good health, greater wisdom, and more opportunities to impact humanity.
