NCPC Executive Secretary Bishop Adegbite loses father

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) is saddened to announce the passing of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite, father of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, who passed away on November 14, 2025, after a brief illness, at the age of 86.
Chief Adegbite was a respected community leader and devout Christian from Fiditi, Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, who lived a life of selfless service to God and humanity.
This was contained in a statement to Apex News Exclusive by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head, Media and Public Relations, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission.
He will be remembered for his impactful legacy and contributions to the community.
Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, is also the Chaplain of the State House Aso Villa Chapel, Abuja, and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State Chapter.
The Commission extends its heartfelt condolences to Bishop Adegbite and the entire Adegbite family during this moment of their bereavement. May the Good Lord grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss, and may Chief Adegbite’s gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
