NDE DG Agara commended for leading President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Employment Initiative Agenda

Media committee members of the defunct All Progressives Congress, (APC’s) Independent Campaign Council, (ICC) have commended, Hon Silas Agara, Director General of National Directorate of Employment, (NDE) for his proactive approach to national growth and development.
Dr. Mariah Olasehinde, coordinator of the Defunct APC-ICC media directorate said that, “We are happy with your leadership qualities as a former Special Adviser, Commissioner under different administrations and lately a Deputy Governor under former Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
“Your achievements while you were the National Coordinator of APC-ICC led to the mobilisation of the electorates at the grassroots led to the success of the party at the general election that produced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We are happy and thankful for you and your team in the completion and relocation of your headquarters from a rented building to a permanent building, introduction of Computer Based Test (CBT), payment of outstanding arrears, success of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) of the President that empowers youth.” She said.
In his response, Hon Silas Ali Agara said, “I want to continue contributing my quota for the success of administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the RHEI, reduce cost of governance of payment of annual rent, completion of the new headquarters, CBT and empowerment of youth.
“I personally supervised the building work on weekly basis, our former office was rented for about three decades, this improves the moral of staff and having value for money.” He said.
Hon Agara stopped the use of syndicated hardcopy forms and introduced online registration. I train and give loans for start-up from 250 upward for trainees or beneficiaries.
The DG of NDE said many knows that the portal is active. In the first day, 10,000 applied and geometrically, 30,000 members applied, they are about to complete the training of the second batch.
When I came, I saw bags of files for arrears, promotion backlog, death benefit amongst others and I cleared them. I met one Laptop, desk top and I bought 70 and printers.
