The remains of Mrs. Mosunmola Abeni Folasade Mary Coker, wife of former Secretary General of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Mr. Anthony Sani, was committed to the mother of the earth, a reminder of the transient nature of life and the universal truth that all souls must eventually face death.

A Believer’s Journey
Born as a believer, she lived and departed as one, surrounded by a community of faith.

Church members and clergy gathered in solemn unity at the family compound in Keffi to honor her memory and support her family during this difficult time, just as Mada sons and daughters united to bid farewell to the remains of Mrs Mosunmola, as her body was taken back to her final resting place.

The outpouring of love and support emphasized the profound impact she had within her community and respect that Anthony Sani has continued to enjoy from the Mada community.

Mourners included members of the Arewa Consultative Forum, traditional rulers, and church clerics, who offered songs of ministry to remind the congregation of life’s fleeting nature: “From the earth we came, and unto the earth we shall return.”

Offering his words of comfort during the “Service of Songs,” the Director General of the National Directorate of Employment, H.E. Silas Agara, expressed his sympathies to the chief mourner, Elder Anthony Sani.

He urged the bereaved family to view the passing of Mrs. Mosunmola as a divine ordeal inherent to the human experience.

“While death is profoundly painful, it is an integral part of life that must be accepted with grace,” stated Agara, who also extended personal condolences to the entire Mada tribe in light of this tremendous loss, praying for her soul’s eternal peace with the Lord Jesus Christ.
