The event, which will hold in Awka-Etiti community the hometown of the Founder, Rev. Fr. George Ebere Adimike marks the second edition of the Night of Praise and Empowerment.

This year’s programme introduces a new dimension with the sponsorship of Mr. Lucky Adimike, whose foundation is empowering 40 community members through a financial empowerment scheme aimed at producing new millionaires.

Scheduled for January 2, 2026, the event will feature a rich lineup of gospel artistes including Miracle Chisom, Chioma Ezefeta, Minister Fabian Nwafor, Blessed Modesta, Blessed Kenz, and others. Popular comedians such as Chief Imo, Sir One-on-One, Albino Brothers, and Igwe White are also billed to perform.

Ministers of the Gospel expected at the programme include Rev. Fr. Joshua Obiekezie, Rev. Fr. Barrister Johnbosco Igwe, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Paul Ifebighi, and Evangelist Timothy Ofoegbu. Motivational speakers Chief Polycarp Onwuka and Onyeka Obiezu will also grace the occasion.

Speaking on the initiative, Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike described the collaboration between Faithspiration Initiative and the Lucky Adimike Foundation as a powerful partnership that has strengthened both platforms in their quest to make meaningful impact on humanity.

The Lucky Adimike Foundation, led by renowned businessman and philanthropist Lucky Adimike, focuses on empowering individuals and families through food distribution, financial assistance, business support, scholarships, healthcare interventions, and church development projects.

The foundation has consistently supported vulnerable families to ease the effects of economic hardship and has provided seed capital to small and medium scale entrepreneurs.

During its December 26, 2025 empowerment programme at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Awka-Etiti, the foundation distributed 50 bags of 50kg rice to two religious bodies, while 400 bags of rice and beans were shared among 200 families. Ten laptops were also donated to Fr. Paul Secondary School, Awka-Etiti.

Additionally, over 40 individuals received ₦1 million each as business seed capital, while a family benefited from the donation of a residential house. The final phase of the empowerment programme is scheduled to take place on January 2, 2026.

According to reports, Lucky Adimike embarked on the initiative as an expression of gratitude to God for blessings upon his life, family, and business, while using his resources to positively impact society.

Since the programme began last year, it has combined spiritual, social, and economic empowerment, including the promotion of Marian devotion, strengthening of Block Rosary centres, payment of school fees for children, and clearance of hospital bills for indigent residents at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, Awka-Etiti.

The Night of Praise is designed as a blend of evangelisation, entertainment, and empowerment, featuring praise, worship, prayers, and inspirational messages aimed at uplifting lives.

Explaining the vision behind Faithspiration Initiative, Rev. Fr. Adimike said: “Faithspiration Initiative is introducing a new method of evangelisation. God asked us to be shepherds and fishermen. While shepherds care for those within the fold, fishermen reach out to those outside. Faithspiration seeks to be both nurturing those within and drawing others to the faith.”
