Senator Lalong welcomes VP Shettima, APC National leadership to Plateau grand reception of Governor Mutfwang

The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has warmly welcomed the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; the President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajjuddeen Abbas; APC Governors, party leaders, stakeholders, and faithful from across the country to Plateau State.

Senator Lalong described the gathering as historic and significant, as it marks the formal reception of the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, into the All Progressives Congress.

According to him, the presence of the Vice President and the leadership of the party at all levels underscores the growing strength, unity, and national outlook of the APC, as well as its commitment to inclusive governance and democratic consolidation under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has continued to impact the lives of Nigerians thereby attracting support for the party.

The former Governor noted that the event represents a defining moment in the political history of Plateau State and expressed confidence that the development will further strengthen collaboration between the state and the Federal Government for the advancement of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
