Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday at the Eagles Square, Abuja, has been inaugurated for a second term in office.
The swearing in was performed by acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad.

It was a low-key event and the President did not read any speech after inspected the Guard of Honour in an open motorcade.
In fact, the federal government had said the event will be without funfair and that major events have been moved to June 12, which has been declared Democracy Day.
However, the inauguration was heralded by a colourful military parade with a clement weather.
After the oath of allegiance and oath of office, there was the lowering and hoisting of National and Defence flags and 21 gun salutes.
Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara was present at the swearing in.
