Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the establishment of a Petroleum Studies and skills Acquisition Institute in Alkaleri Local government Area of the state.
This was contained in a press statement issued to journalists in Bauchi by the spokesman of the Governor, Dr. Ladan Salihu.
According to him, the institute would provide the required manpower in the oil and gas industry in addition to contributing to infrastructural development.
Dr. Ladan said the establishment of the institute was part of the outcome of the recent governor’s visit to Tertiary Education Fund TEDFUND and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC in Abuja.
