More condemnation for Plateau attack
Senator Hezekiah Dimka condemns the attack

More condemnation has continued to pour in on the recent killings of 12 villagers in Kombun ward of Mangu LGA of Plateau state.
The federal lawmakers, Senator representing Plateau central, Hezekiah Dimka and the member, representing Mangu/Bokkos federal constituency, Solomon Maren in their separate releases described the killings as barbaric and unfortunate.
According to the senator, “is with heavy heart full of pains we write to condole the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the barbaric and evil attack against the Kulben village in Mangu LGA.
“At the moment the Plateau state government and the good people of Plateau are celebrating the hard earned peace we are enjoying, the forces of darkness are trying to untie the success recorded on peace building in the state”, he said in a statement signed by Shehu Kanam, his Senior Legislative aide.
The Senator counsel that the “Plateau spirit in us should be strong like never before in rising above all odds to ensure that the perpetrators are not only brought to book but stopped from throwing us into the old days of grief in state”.
He then appealed for calm among all the social divides in the state while government is doing everything humanly possible to ensure justice for the victims of the mayhem.
Also, Maren noted that it was quite disturbing that the attack was coming at a time relative peace was being enjoyed. He then pleaded for calm as government would do its best to fish out perpetrators.
