Kano Governor, Ganduje
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has officially welcomed to the APC, Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, a former Kano State PDP Chairman who recently decamped to the ruling party.
The Governor received Bichi and other defectors on Wednesday at a political rally in Kano State.
It will be recalled Naija News earlier reported on Wednesday that Bichi dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) shortly after the Supreme Court delivered a final verdict on the Kano State governorship election.
Other prominent persons who also decamped on Wednesday include Hajiya Binta Spikin, Kwankwaso’s spokesperson, Hajiya Aisha Kaita, a zonal Woman Leader of PDP in Kano, Muhammad Isyaku Taraunu former member House of Assembly and Dr. Idris Bala a renown Kwankwasiyya leader.
Governor Ganduje also used the occasion to slam former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement describing him as the most selfish person he had ever known, also accusing him of imposing his personal wishes and interest on the people of Kano State.
The Governor noted that even the Kwankwasiyya movement was initiated by himself and the decamping PDP chairman Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi to prove loyalty to Kwankwaso. (NaijaNews)
