Governor Ortom speaks to the media after inspecting facilities at State University Teaching Hospital and Federal Medical Centre, Apir, as part of measures put in place to tackle COVID-19
Benue State has joined states affected with COVID-19 case as a female United Kingdom returnee, Susan Okpe, has tested positive to the virus.
The state Governor, Samuel Ortom confirmed the case at a news conference in Makurdi on Saturday.
According to him, the lady returned from United Kingdom about 14 days ago.
Ortom said test carried out by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) proved Susan was positive.
