Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sadiq and other members have refuted allegation that they were isolated in a hotel in Gombe after contracting COVID-19.
While briefing Journalists, Hon. Sadiq said none of them was isolated at a hotel but were self-isolated within their residents.
The speaker inline with his five colleagues that contacted the virus thanked God for seeing them through after been isolated for two weeks.
He said we have to thank God after our samples were taken and the result came out in five days that showed six of us from Gombe assembly contacted COVID-19.
He also thanked the governor for providing the necessary support to the task force under the leadership of Prof. Idris Mohammed and have fully recovered.
