The Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) says it is committed to accelerating infrastructural development within the Capital Territory.

Managing Director, Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa stated this while speaking to journalists in Awka after defending the 2019 financial transactions of the Agency before the Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Public Accounts.
According to him, the Agency has designed Awka Capital Territory master plan and has ensured uniformity in building approval to arrest indiscriminate construction of buildings in the state.
Venerable Okwuosa revealed that they have embarked on desilting of drains at Works Road, Court Road, Zik Avenue and Club Road to reduce flooding in the state.
The Awka Capital Territory Development Boss while urging Developers within the capital territory to stick to development master plan of the present administration, said that the agency will punish anyone found working against its mandate.
The Managing Director further stated that they had sensitized the people living within the capital territory on the importance of keeping their environment clean, which he said will go along away to aid in fighting diseases.
