Anambra governor, Obiano

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has called on Ndi Anambra to keep on believing, and have faith in God in the new year.
In a New Year message, Governor Obiano said; “The year 2020 was difficult but we survived it. With our faith in God, we shall overcome any obstacle to enjoy a more fulfilling new year (2021).”
Meanwhile, the Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has assured Ndi Anambra that the State legislature will continue to enact laws aimed at improving the living standards of the citizenry.
In his New Year message, Right Honourable Okafor described 2021 as a year with great prospects.
The Speaker called on politicians in the state irrespective of party affiliations to join hands with Governor Willie Obiano in moving the state forward
He urged various religious bodies in the state to intensify prayers for the continuous peace and progress of the state as well as the peaceful conduct of the Governorship election in the state this year.
The State number one Lawmaker enjoined security operatives, traditional rulers and Presidents-General of various communities in the State to complement Governor Obiano’s wonderful security initiative by ensuring adequate security in their various communities.
