Digitalization will help boost our economy- Gombe commissioner

Gombe State Commissioner of Science, Ttechnology and Innovation, Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari has said digitalization which is said to be a priority to everyone has helped in boosting our economy.
She stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Gombe.
According to her, Gombe state government has done tremendously well in achieving its goal where 774 Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential award science competition which she said Gombe state participated at the finals in Abuja in January 2020.
She explained that based on the achievement made so far, Gombe contingent participated in the National STIAM Expo in Abuja in March last year.
Dr. Maigari appreciated the effort of governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for giving a virtual training for 60 entrepreneur and innovators in collaboration with UNIDO in August 2020.
Gombe State Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation has collaborated with federal MDA’s such as NITDA, NBTI, NCC, NIGCOMSAT, NBRRI and RMRDC for effective digitalization in the state she said.
The commissioner called on the people of the state to support the present administration even as she said governor Yahaya is doing his best to ensure that everyone is carried alone.
