El-Kanemi Warriors attend PowerPoint presentation on laws, amendments

As part of preparations for the first match of Elkanemi warriors Football Club for 2021 football season this weekend against EFCC Football club of Abuja, players and official of the warriors were put to a classroom situation in a power point presentation covering laws of the game and new amendments.
Courtesy of Borno referees council the seminar or presentation was organized to keep the players and officials up to date in the laws and amendments of the round leather game.
Lead by the deputy Chairman of the Borno referees council, Bulama Ali Sheru, the team of Grema Mohammed (FIFA) Bulus Dauda (Assisstant Training Officer), the trio assisted by Usman Zumami dwelled on the laws of the game with emphasis on the amendments.
After the session both players and officials of the warriors came out satisfied pointing out that they will face Sundays match against EFCC team with added knowledge of the game.
Elkanemi warriors captain Lucky Erumuya thanked the referee for the knowledge impacted in them and promise to make good use of what they learnt.
Speaking at the end of the PowerPoint presentation, the chairman Elkanemi Warriors, Alhaji Sherif Bukar expressed satisfaction with the exercise describing it as a plus to the team in its march towards the apex league in the country.
“Our players and officials have gained from this workshop presentation and we will ensure periodic revisit of these laws and their amendments because the team gained a lot that will help us in match situations” the Chairman declared.
On the Warriors match come Sunday against EFCC Abuja he appeal to the teeming supporters and lovers of Elkanemi to pray for the victory of our state darling team pointing out that it is not our making but rules and laws have to be followed to stay safe during pandemic like the one we are experiencing.
According to the chairman only the two team and those on essential duties will be allowed into the by warriors Sports Center on match days. He once again appeal for the understanding of all football lovers on this close door issue.
