Three weeks old strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Taraba state University Jalingo has been suspended.
Chairman Academic Staff Union of the university Samuel Shakaa disclosed this while speaking with our correspondent in Jalingo .
The chairman explained that the state government under the leadership of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has provided most of the needs of ASUU and that the state government has released funds to meet some of their demands.
Shikaa called on members of the union to immediately resume academic activities and appreciate members for there support and patience during the industrial action.
