The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Delta State Command, Commandant Ikpeamonwu Alpha Chike fsi, has deployed 2000 staff of the Command both Armed, Conventional and undercover to all the stratigic points and locations within the state to ensure maximum security before, during and after the Easter celebration.
The State Commandant made this known while briefing the press on the readiness of the Command in collaboration with Police and other sister agencies to ensure peace and security of lives and property of the general public during this period as maintained that Security is everybody’s Business.
Comd’t Chike also assured Deltans to go about their legitimate business and sleep with their two eyes closed as they remain law abiding.
He reiterated the stance of the Command under his leadership to Zero tolerance to crimes and criminality in Delta State and Nigeria in general.
The Commandant also urge all the Christian faithfuls to use the Easter period to pray for Peace, in our dear nation.
