The wife of the Emir of Ilorin, Hajiya Rafat Sulu-Gambari, on Sunday called on the wealthy individuals in the society to always take care of those in need for the sake of peaceful coexistence.
Hajiya Sulu-Gambari made the call while speaking at the Maolud Nabbiy and the Turbaning of Sheikh Abdullahi EL-Hassan Zathullahi as the Sarkin Samarin Addini held at the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.
According to her “the needy should be supported to reduce criminal activities in the society.
Wealthy individuals and corporate organisations have a duty to complement government effort in providing amenities to those in need”
Hajiya Sulu-Gambari also challenged religious leaders to always preach love, peace and development of the society.
