Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman welcomes the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammad and his guest, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde to his Ningi Central Constituency for the official groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of Arinja-Balma and Nasaru Township roads which will take place today.
The Speaker expressed his utmost appreciation to the Governor for graciously granting his request for the construction of the road, saying the entire people of Ningi Local Government are thrilled for the Governor’s approval of the project and the official flagg off.
He said that, “I always say that Bauchi State under His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammad is witnessing unprecedented transformation. These roads that will be constructed in my Constituency are testimony of how the Governor spreads people-oriented projects to all nooks and crannies of the State.
The Speaker added that, “With this flagg off, succour has come to the communities of Nasaru, Balma, Gwam, Arinja and many others who suffered for decades due to lack of accessible road network.
“Myself and constituents are grateful to His Excellency for this important road and many developmental projects in Ningi Local Government such as housing scheme, renovation and construction of health facilities, schools etc.” He added.
While commending Governor Bala Mohammad for his commitment in bringing direct life-touching programmes towards the betterment of the people of Bauchi State by giving emphasis on the rural development, the Speaker assured him that the 9th Assembly of Bauchi State will maintain the synergy existing between them so that he will achieve his vision for the State.
He wished the Governor, his Oyo State counterpart and other invited personalities successful exercise and happy stay in Ningi, the home of warriors and bravery as contained in a statement by Abdul Ahmad Burra, spokesperson to the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly.
