Adamawa police uncover cash tucked in a criminal hideout

A huge amount of money has been discovered by Adamawa State Police Command stashed in a criminal hideout in Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
This was contained in a statement by the command’s Image maker DSP Suleiman Nguroje and urged the owner(s) to come forward and claim the money.
Nguroje said the command’s operatives attached to Gombi local government discovered the money tucked in a bag during their routine operation at Tashar Marghi, a renowned black spot.
“The Adamawa State Police Command is calling members of the general public that on the 6/4/2021 the Command’s operatives attached to Gombi Division, while on area patrol at a certain black spot situated at Tachan Marghi, Anguwan Tili in Gombi Local government area, recovered a bag containing what appears to be money buried.
“On the strength of that, the Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, called on members of the public particularly those whose money was stolen to report to the Divisional Police headquarters, Gombi with proofs and claim.”
Our correspondent reports that as at the time of filing this report nobody has shown up to claim of the money.
