British High Commission to provide technical support to Bauchi in energy education development

As part of the relationship between Britain and Nigeria which has come down to relation with Bauchi state, Britain is set to provide technical support to the State Government in solar energy, health, education and facilitate public private partnership.
The disclosure was made by the Head of Political Desk of the British High Commission in Nigeria, Dr Cattrine Brootus who was in Bauchi state on a working visit on Friday.
While speaking during a courtesy visit to the Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir at the Government House, Cattrine Brootus added that Bauchi State has so much potentials therefore the British Commission will improve on its partnership with the State Government to advance critical sectors.
She also assured that the British High Commission is committed to good governance and democratic growth and will give every necessary support to promote it.
During an interactive session with the Commission at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed welcomed the delegation to Bauchi saying that the visit was timely and auspicious.
The Governor said the partnership between Bauchi and the British Commission is for both historical and cultural and assured of his administration’s readiness to strengthening relationship with the Commission to identify areas of special needs.
Mohammed thanked the leader of the High Commission for her full participation during the recent Nort East Governors Forum meeting held in Bauchi, assuring her that Governors in the region are committed to tackling security challenges.
