Governor Ishaku of Taraba State

Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku has congratulated Muslims in the state for successfully participating in the annual Ramadan fasting which has ushered in Eid el Fitri.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu praised Muslim Ummah for subjecting themselves to discipline and self denial which is a trademark of Ramadan fasting and prayed that Allah grants them their prayers for the great act of sacrifice.
The Governor expresses happiness that peace has gradually returned to virtually all communities in the state and commended them for their support for the efforts of government that made this possible.
It calls for vigilance against terrorists and kidnappers who are still lurking around in many towns and villages making roads and farms unsafe for the people.
Governor Ishaku lamented the damage which insurgency and kidnappings have done to farming in the state and called for unity across ethnic and religious divide against insecurity.
The Statement congratulated all Tarabans for their support and cooperation in the fight against COVID nineteen urging those who have not yet been vaccinated against the pandemic to do so without hesitation.
Governor Darius Ishaku wishes the Muslim Ummah a happy Edel Fitri celebrations.
