The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Chris Owolabi, has extended felicitation to the Muslim Community Worldwide especially in Anambra State on the celebration of Eid el-Fitr.
In a release on behalf of the Commissioner, the Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the CP congratulates them on the successful completion of this year’s fasting and prayers during the Ramadan.
It said that in compliance with the Federal Governments directive on Corona Virus prevention guideline, the CP entreats them to celebrate responsibly and also use this period of the festivity to pray for the peace and security of the State and nation at large.
Meanwhile, the Command is collaborating with other Security Agencies and stakeholders within the State to provide adequate public security and safety during and after the festive period.
To this end, residents of the State have been enjoined to remain law-abiding, vigilant and in the event of distress call or dissemination of useful information are advice to call the Command Control room numbers 112, 07039194332 or 08039334002.
CP Owolabi assures utmost confidentiality of information conveyed through these channels.
