The African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), an NGO involved in talent hunt and mentoring programme is to discover talented youths in various sporting events who will mentored to be able to achieve their potentials in life.
Founder of the NGO, Engr. Noah Dallaji made the disclosure in Bauchi on Saturday at the commencement of the second edition of the programme stressing that the aim is to let the youths know that they got talents that can be harnessed for greatness.
He said that, “though it is going to be fun during the program, the main focus is the mentorship. The young people in this country have a lot of hope and they have a lot of talents but they are waiting to have a platform, a ladder they can climb, by the grace of God, that lader has come.

Dallaji who is a philanthropist added that,”We are all here to support their talents and see how we can support them to be useful to themselves. The program is not about Bauchi State, it is about Nigeria entirely. We are here to show the world that the country will be better with these young people”.
“You see, all these achievers, Kanu Nwakwo, Daniel Amokachi, Garba Lawal, Taribo West and others who are here in Bauchi today are who they are because of their talents. So, there are bigger Amokachis that have not been discovered, we must discover them”, he stressed.
Dallaji who hails from Bauchi State added that, “what these youths need is the platform to climb the ladder in order to get up there, that is why we are to give them the opportunity to move up the ladder”.
He then told those to be discovered and mentored to, “use their ideas for positive things. For someone to engage in cyber crime and succeed, he must be talented and intelligent, they should use that intelligence for a good purpose and positive things, that is the reason we  are here”.
The ACTDF President added that, “like I said earlier, we are here to give them the platform, the ladder for them to climb, we want to create a new dimension which will help the young people to be able to contribute their quota to the development of the country and make something for themselves and their families “.
He then assured that the program is not a one off thing but something that will continue and will be spread across the country and even beyond to African countries saying,”until the last drop of my blood, the program will continue and by the grace of God, we will be there”.
The mentoring program which is in sports with particular attention on football drew old Nigerian football stars to Bauchi to serve as motivation for the young talents discovered.
