The mighty thunder clapped and roared
Shaking, the earth danced in rhythm
Scary dark clouds converged in a rush
Swirling, whistling went the wingless wind
Playing mischief with market womens’ wrappers
Hurrying to gather goods on their stalls
Joyfully, farmers ushered in the new rain
As heavens wept wetting the earth
With tears that tears the trees and dearth
The dreadful draught met its Waterloo
