The couple with the child after the dedication
By Apex News Exclusive
Happiness may be an occasional episode in a general drama of pains only for the tragic world, as this doesn’t come to play when Building Engineer, Jerome Imoter Ugboho and his lovely wife Amaka-Dooshima are involved.
Not long ago, Ugboho, Assistant Director, Department of Development Control,
Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) was promoted. While that celebration was ongoing, the family had the mother of it all. The birth of Msenhemba, the first child of the couple after 13 years of waiting, praying and expecting. When blessings come, they come in battalion, says the popular English adage.
Obviously, Msenhemba which entails superiority of prayer is being welcome to the Ugboho family with series of celebration treats.

One of such is the child’s dedication held last Sunday, August 8, at Saint Martins Catholic Church, Kapwa, FHA Lugbe, and followed by reception at Olusegun Obasanjo Space Centre, Airport road, Abuja. The reception which was the climax of the celebration, was graced by a heavy presence of guests from all walks of life. Politicians, top bureaucrats, captains of industry, high-rank security personnel, religious leaders, friends, media, church members among others. The dedication came three days after the birthday celebration of Bldr. Ugboho.
While the thrills, grills, glitz and glamour of the dedication reception was ongoing, behold, a northern media group, Coalition of Northern Journalists Forum, (CONJOF), showed up with a surprised conferment on the assistant director, Ugboho. Napoleon Hills was right, when he said, success at times has a way of coming through the back door, so explained, Alh. Rilwanu Zubairu, the team leader.
According to Zubairu, CONJOF is a body of seasoned professionals that is out to support and crusade for the over all development of the North, and entire Nigeria, devoid of politics, religious leaning, tribal and ethnic affiliations. He pointed out that due to Ugboho’s notable philanthropic gestures
CONJOF was there to honour him with an award of humanitarian services, in the presence of many to encourage others do same. He added as an organization with membership spread across northern Nigeria, CONJOF has it ear on ground to identify and encourage upcoming young men of northern extraction, whom, by their efforts, the sad story of Northern Nigeria will change for the better.
Responding, elated Ugboho said the honour has humbled him.
He noted that, “sometimes when we do some things and think people are not watching us, we are actually wrong. I am surprise today, because, I have not met with CONJOF before now, but, noticing some of my little act of charity, they done me this honour, I am encouraged”.
