The paramount ruler being heralded on horse back to the palace

The newly selected Murum Mbula of Borrong in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State has been ushered into his palace by a tumultuous crowd who witnessed the heroic moment.
He is His Majesty Murum Bwaltan Bentley Biyapo a former Staff of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) whose election had generated some controversy.
The Murum Mbula a 1st class and the elenth traditional king and who comes from the Muzong family and he takes over the reign of the kingdom following the demise of late Joram Joel J. Fwa of the FWA clan.
Those who spoke at the occasion stressed the need for absolute unity among the different clans and the generality of the people.
According to Honourable Felix Tangwami Garkuwan Mbula and a time Chairman Demsa Localise Government Council, enjoined the new traditional ruler to embrace all as he has been chosen by God.
Tangwami thetefore called on the people to pray for wisdom for the new king and rally round him for good and decisive decisions and advice what will bring development and progress for the kingdom. “Politics comes and go but tradition lives on”.
Speaking to some journalists, Hon. Member representing Demsa in Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Kate Mamuno who said she was impressed with the turn out and despite the mamoth crowd, orderly and manner the all thing was conducted.
Hon Mamuno commended the efforts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to have ensured that all is well that the selection of the new Murum Mbura is without any rancour.
She call on the people to pray for him to over whatever challenges that may surface and that the MBULA should rally round him to succeed this time of insecurity in the area.
On his part, Chairman Demsa Local Government Council Elkanah Fwa told the new ruler that expectations of the people were high hence he should do justice to all.
According to Elkanah who comes from the Fwa clan said the new king should tske security ss first priotity as the area have been enjoying relative peace.
He commended the Mbula king for the successfully undertaking the traditional cleansing.
Responding to all speeches at the palace, the new Murum Bwaltan Bentley Biyapo enjoined his people to be united and guard against divisive tendencies.
The Murum said he will not hesitate to deal decisively with trouble makers adding he is for all ill respective of clans, religious and political learnings.
He solicited for absolute trust, advices that will help in the development of Mbula land.
