Special Marshals charged to be civil, courteous on patrol

Members of Special Marshal of Bauchi Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) have charged to always be cautious while on patrol considering that as a regimented organization, their watchword is always discipline and courtesy. 
The charge was made by the State Coordinator of the Special Marshall, Dr Kunle Gbadamosi while decorating new members at the Sector Command headquarters in Bauchi over the weekend. 
He reminded the members to see their services as volunteers who are committed to saving lives and reducing accidents on the highways across the state stressing that a selfless service require patience and perseverance.

The State Coordinator of the Special Marshall further called on the members not engage motorists on unnecessary arguments but keep calm to educate them on traffic regulations saying that bookings should be the last option. 
Kunle Gbadamosi said that, “you are expected to be civil in the conduct of your assignment, you are not engage in heated discussions that may lead to fisticuffs. You are only to talk to the motorists to understand the need to observe traffic regulations”  
He also advised the new members to study the handbook of the Special Marshall carefully to understand the rules and regulations of engagement stressing that without knowing the rules and regulations, it will be difficult for them to operate. 
The newly decorated Special Marshall thanked the Sector Command for giving them the opportunity to be members promising that they will do their best to contribute to safety on the roads in Bauchi state.
