The Progressive Young Women Forum of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Plateau State Chapter has joined to condemn the killings of commuters along Gada-Biyu/Rukuba road in Jos on Saturday.
This was contained in a statement Sunday by the State Secretary of the forum Ms. Esther Pam Hwere to Apex News Exclusive.
“We as young aspiring leaders and mothers see this as a setback to the peaceful coexistence we have all been praying for,” she said.
According to the statement, the forum mourn with the families of the bereaved and pray that God will console them on this sad incident hoping that this will come to an end very soon.
Ms Hwere said the body want to also encourage Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong not to lose focus as They stand by his proactive measures taken to curb the ugly carnage.
“We equally mourn the Irigwe nation over the mass burial of their people who were mercilessly killed,” the statement added.
The forum hoped those involved in these shameless acts will make a U-turn and embrace peaceful living.
