Members of the APC north east youth awareness forum

The APC North East Youth Awareness Forum on Tuesday in Bauchi declared total support and cooperation to the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State.
Members of the forum led by the chairman, Hassan Chaka made this known when they paid a solidarity visit to the governor at the Government House, Bauchi.
The chairman said that the Forum being from the opposition party, deemed it necessary to join hands with the PDP led administration in Bauchi state for the interest and development of the state.
He said that, “Your Excellency, we are here in Bauchi for a solidarity visit, you are from PDP and we are from APC, but despite our political differences we must say that we are satisfied with the performance of your administration and with that, you have our support.”
Hassan Chaka added that, “One of our objectives in the forum is the political interest of the North East, especially in a democratic dispensation and to enable us contribute to national development.”
Hassan Chaka also said that the forum also supported the endorsement of Governor Bala Mohammed by his supporters and well wishers to contest the apex political seat in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election in the country.

“Your Excellency, many have recently endorsed you to contest for president in the next presidential election and we in the APC North East Youth Awareness Forum we are in support of the endorsement and we will work for you”, he assured.
He stressed that, “We took interest in you because of your commitment to the development of Bauchi state within your two years of office and we are convinced that you will take us to the promise land if you become our next president.”
While responding, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude to the forum for acknowledging the achievements so far recorded by his administration in critical sectors of the state’s economy thereby declaring interest to join hands with his government.
The governor who spoke through the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim said that he is still in consultation with critical stakeholders before he announce his position on the endorsement as contained in a statement by Muktar Mukhtar Gidado ,Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Bauchi Governor.
