The Red Cross of Nigeria in Plateau State has send out a Save Our Soul, (SOS), to the public spirited persons to donate blood to victims of the mass murder in the state.
A short message signed by Mafeng Mark, head of communication of the organisation said all blood groups are required at the moment.
It said, “as a matter of urgency, please visit the Plateau Specialist Hospital for the donation”
In the last two weeks, the state faced some series of attacks from suspected fulani militias with the latest night raid at Junga Zangam village in Jos north.
Also in Bwai, Mangu LGA, six fulani militias were killed when they allegedly opened fire and killed a commander of the Inspector General of police special forces despatch to quell an attack in the area.
In Bassa LGA, over 70 lives were lost and about 200 houses burnt by the militias while some travellers were also intercepted and killed by angry mobs which attracted swift response from the federal and state governments.
