Gombe Governor, Inuwa Yahaya mourns Sarkin Ayyukan Tangale Waja

Late Alhaji Yunusa Sanusi Mohammed Fawu

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed grief over the death of elder statesman and community leader, Alhaji Yunusa Sanusi Mohammed Fawu, who died recently after a protracted illness at the age of 88 years.
Inuwa Yahaya, in a statement on Tuesday,  described the demise of the former Head of Works of the defunct Tangale Waja Local Authority, popularly known as Sarkin Ayyuka as a great loss, not only to his immediate family but to the state in general.  
He noted that the deceased had lived a life of service to his community, state and the nation and left behind wonderful memories that will continue to be cherished. 
The Governor  on behalf of the government and people of Gombe state, extended his deepest condolences to Ambassador Saidu Mohammed Fawu, members of the Galadima family as well as the entire Tangale community over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
It will be recalled that Governor Inuwa Yahaya had earlier sent a government delegation led by the Deputy Governor,  Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau on a condolence visit to the bereaved family in Billiri. 
The delegation, which included the Secretary to the State Government,  Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi,  Commissioners and Special Advisers, delivered Governor Yahaya’s message of condolence as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General ( Press Affairs) Government House Gombe.
