Abuja kids call for more harmony on World Peace Day

Children from schools in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have called on leaders to do everything possible to promote peace in the country.
They made the call at the programme to mark the World Peace Day on Friday organised by the Katherine Parker Initiative for Peace which held in Abuja.
One of the children from the Cuddle School, Muhammad Hanif Tahum, said: “I want to tell our leaders to keep trying their best and give all they can so we can have more peace in the nation.”
The founder of the Initiative, Mrs Eki Agorom said the aim of celebrating the day was to create awareness that peace building should be the core value of every society
Miss Ambassador for Peace South West, Miss Serena Joseph said a nation without peace cannot stand together adding that every individual must stand as an advocate of peace.
