Mr. Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after casting his vote at Social Centre, Unit 010, Amesi, Aguata Local Government Area has expressed worry over the poor connectivity of the Internet as being experienced in today’s governorship election by voters in Anambra State.
Calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission to urgently attest the ugly situation by deploying Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System(BIVAS) machine, Mr. Ozigbo decried that it took him ollver 20 minutes to cast his vote and wondered what other voters would experience in their various polling unit, across the State.
Transcorp former boss seized the opportunity to urge the eligible voters to come out and exercise their franchise, assuring them of their security.
Decring late arrival of materials at Awka South, Orumba North, other parts of the state, the hopeful winner of today’s election tasked INEC officials to ensure materials get to those areas and on time too to avoid disenfranchising voters.
