The All Progressives Congress, has congratulated the winner of the just concluded Anambra Governorship election, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his victory in the election.
This came hours after Soludo was declared the winner of the November 6th election by the independenr National Electoral Commission.
The congratulatory message was given by the Anambra State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Okelo Madukaife when he appeared on AriseTV’s Afternoon programme, ‘Arise Interview monitored by our correspondent in Awka, the Anambra State Capital.
He assured that APC would be holding Soludo accountable in the most civil manner to ensure that he lived up to the promises made to Ndi Anambra.
Mr. Madukaife hailed the security agencies for their efforts in ensuring a smooth conduct of the exercise.
The Anambra State Publicity Secretary condemned the nonconduct of Local Government Area elections in the State since 1999 (except in 2013 and 2014), adding that APC’s advocacy for the conduct of Local Government Area elections in the State would continue.
