How suspected ritualists kill, remove brain of 11- year-old Almajiri in Bauchi

Bauchi State Police Command on Sunday confirmed that some yet to be identified assailants believed to be ritualists have killed an 11 year old Almajiri identified as Yunus in Bauchi smashing his skull and removed the brain for suspected ritual purposes. 
The barbaric act as confirmed by the State Police Command, was committed at a dark area along Kofar Wambai area in Bauchi metropolis. 

Information has it that a yet to be identified man had called two Almajiri pupils who were going about their begging for alms and lured them into a corner pretending that he will give them something. 
The information further revealed that one of the boys managed to escape from the assailants and came out in shock and  told the residents what had happened, when they got to where the incident happened,  they discovered  the dead body of the pupil and alerted the Police.

Bauchi State Police Command Public Relations Office (PPRO), SP Muhammad  Ahmad Wakil confirmed the incident saying that, ” Police received a distress call from a good Samaritan that unknown persons have used a stone and broke the skull of an Almajiri Pupils” .
The PPRO added that, “the two Quranic School  pupils are Muhd Yunusa 11 years and Aminu Yusuf 12 years old. They were deceived by unknown persons ,who used a stone to break the skull of Yunus and escaped to an unknown destination” . 
Ahmed Wakil also said that immediate  Police received the call, they went to the scene of the incident  where they met Yunus lying in full blood , they took him to the specialist Hospital Bauchi  for autopsy where the medical  Doctor certified him death. 
He said that the State Commissioner of Police, Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has directed the Divisional Police Officer DPO A Division  to act with immediate effect and not to leave any stone unturned and bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book.
He however advised parents to monitor the movement  of their children  and not to allow them to answer call from strangers  In the name of giving  them something.
