Kuteb Yetso of Nigeria urges Senator Bwacha to see to installation of Ukwe Takum

The Kuteb Yetso of Nigeria (KYN) says Senator Emmanuel Bwacha should install the long vacant stool of Ukwe Takum or forget the the Taraba state Governorship.

And that, the roads from Yungtu areas especially Takum- Lissam- Bisanla are not in tune with changing time, the highest bidder takes the governorship of Taraba state come 2023.

The Chairman Lagos branch of KYN, Mr Kennwth Shaki stated this during the end of year Dinah and Award ceremony of the Association in Ikeja, Lagos.

He said enough is enough for the long vacant stool of Takum for dacades that Takum remained without Ukwe.

Mr Shaku noted that the politics of voting before satisfying the desire of electorates is over that “money for hand back for ground.

Mr Kennet who thanked Senator Bwacha for responding to their invitation to be part of this years event. “I want to call on him to look into our plight of the kuteb nation in the area of Yangtu, Takum-Lissam- Bisaula road and the Ukwe Takum vacant stool for Sony decades.

Speaking during the occasion, the Senate deputy minority, leader and the Senator Representing Taraba south at the National Assembly, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha called on Taraba state elites I’m diaspora to show special interest in the politics and economic development of the state.

Senator Bwacha who is the special guest of honour during the occasion, said, they should see this as a privilege and special interest responsible to be part of the political and economic transformation of the people back home having being exposed to new ways of doing things.

Bwacha who was represented by Amb. Rikwense Muri called that they should be at the forefront of promoting harmonious living economic development, stability and political emacipaation of the state.

He added that, ” if you do not take interest of in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rules of fools. One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that, you end up being governed by your inferior, Plato.

According to him, whatever success story you have here in Lagos, if news coming home are not encouraging, you cannot have peace of mind. The massive migration of many Tarabans away from the state as a result of economic hardship, violent conflicts and insecurity should encourage every Taraba in the diaspora to think of ways to be part of the politics and economic solution to the challenges facing our people back home.

The Senator however pledges to partner with the KYN in Lagos on any idea and project back home that can enhance equality of lives the people and build a more prosperous society for all to thrive when we get involved in setting agenda for dialogue, peace, justice, political and economic development, nothing shall be impossible for us as a people.

The patron of KYN Lagos, Engr. Joseph Wukari Wasa thanked God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon Kuteb the sons and daughters in Lagos and many parts of the nation in 2021.

During the occasion, cultural dances choreography and exchange of gift added more colours among the members as symbols of love and brotherhood.
