Kaduna South Senator wants Manchok statistics college upgraded to university

The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Danjuma Tella Laah has renewed his appeal to the Federal Government for the upgrading of the Federal School of Statistics, Manchok to a full fledged University.

Senator Laah who stated this while fielding questions from Journalists in Kafanchan said upgrading the institution to the status of a university will in no small way, give the people of the Senatorial District a sense of belonging apart from enhancing the qualify of education.

The Senator expressed delight over the recent visit by President Muhammadu Buhari to Kafanchan in particular and Kaduna state in general, describing it as a milestone achievement.

He also thanked the people of the Senatorial District for coming out in mass to welcome the President, describing it as heartwarming.

Senator Danjuma Laah supported the Emir of Jamaa, Alhaji Muhammad Isa Muhammad in his appeal to the President on the need for a military base in Kafanchan during the visit.

The Senator said the appeal if granted will further enhance the security situation of not only Southern Kaduna but the state as a whole.
