The campaign team of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar stormed Anambra State at the weekend ahead of the 2023 Presidential election
The team was led by founder of Africa Independent Television (AIT) High Chief Raymond Dokpesi without Atiku’s running mate in 2019, who is also former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi.
Atiku is seeking the Presidential ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The Atiku campaign team paid a visit to the Governorship candidate of the PDP in Anambra during the November 6 election, Chief Valentine Ozigbo at his Amesi country home in Aguata Local Government Area.
Speaking to the PDP faithful who gathered at Ozigbo’s place to receive the party chieftains, the Leader of the Group, Dr. Dokpesi said the visit was to inform them that Atiku was contesting the 2023 presidential election.
According to Dokpesi: “The Waziri (Atiku) is the right person that could match Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu should he eventually emerge as the presidential candidate of APC.
