Members of Supporters Club of Wikki Tourists FC, Bauchi and that of Plateau United FC, Jos have vowed to work together and fight football hooliganism between them for the promotion of peace and unity.
This was demonstrated on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi when members of Plateau United FC Supporters Club presented a peace Initiative plaque to Wikki Tourists FC Supporters Club before the kick off of the Wikki Tourists Vs Plateau United game of the npfl 21/22 match day 8.
Captains Muhammed Guda of Wikki Tourists and Itodo of Plateau United assisted in presenting the plague to Wikki Tourists Supporters Club Chairman, Alhaji Garba to the admiration of supporters that thronged the stadium to watch the Match.
The two Supporters Clubs expressed optimism that with the new development, days of football hooliganism are gone which will in turn mean that football fans will have a conducive atmosphere to watch good and entertaining football match.
