New commander takes over at 13 Brigade

A new Commander Brigadier General Everest Ifeanyi Okoro has taken over as the Commander 13 Brigade of Nigerian Army.
He took over on 25 January 2022 at the Brigade headquarters in Calabar during an official ceremony.
The took over from Brigadier General Peter Nalla who has been promoted Major General as moved to Department of army administration at the headquarters in Abuja.
The New Commander is the 56th Commander of the Brigade from Major General Peter who was recently promoted to the rank of Major General and has been posted to Army Headquarters Department of Army Administration, Abuja.
Speaking at the farewell ceremony, outgoing commander thanked the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, The General Officer Commanding 82 Div and also Officers of the Brigade for their supports during his tour of duty as Commander 13 Brigade.
He enjoined soldiers to be disciplined, cooperate maximally with the new Commander and be loyal to the federal government.
The new commander promised to keep the flag flying and will try his best to fill the big shoes left behind.
