Benue Labour Party chairman charges members to be more committed

As the 2023 Nigeria election is at the corner, Benue state chapter of Labour Party (PL) has been strategizing to takeover power from the established political parties from Wards to the national level.
The State Chairman of LP Comrade Ibrahim Idoko Otene during a meeting to reposition the party in Makurdi Local Government Area said that the reason for convening the meeting is since LP is the third party in Benue state, the the exco is making effort to make the party to take the number one position in the state and national but must first restructure the Makurdi Local Government Area exco as a launch pad to the other local government areas.

He disclosed that since inception of democracy LP has featured many candidates who have won election at wards, local government areas, state and national levels and the party is ready to sweep the polls in 2023.
The state chairman charged the new Makurdi exco to work hard to be a template to other local government areas.
State Secretary of the party, Comrade Buter Matthew Terhemba charged the newly inaugurated executives of the party to live up to expectations to rescue the good people of Makurdi from the shackles of death occasioned by bad Leadership.
New Chairman of LP in Makurdi Local Government Area Comrade Ioryar Akombu thanked the members for the confidence repose in him and promised not disappoint LP.
2023 Nigeria presidential hopeful PstMallam Dr. Ortindi Torough Baka (Andertar) encouraged members to use their talents for progress of the party to make Nigeria great and better for all.
Collaborating PstMallam Baka, Zone B Woman Lead Comrade Vihityo Janet stressed the need for more sacrifice for progress.
Women leader for Makurdi Local Government Area Comrade Akpaki Thabitha appreciated the state Chairman for the meeting, which she described as timely.
Other members of the new exco are; Treasurer, Peter Inja, Youth Leader, Benjamin Terlumum Ingyaji, PRO Iorulugh Kenneth Msughter.
The State exco has directed the Makurdi exco to substitute inactive exco members.
