The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Gombe State has elected its new officials that will handle the affairs of the party.
Speaking shortly to journalists after the election, the newly elected chairman, Barrister Abdul-Ganiyu Mohammed Bello said the election of new officials was timely as it approach the 2023 general elections.
According to him, he would do everything possible to ensure that the party strives.
Barrister Bello appreciated with the conduct of the election saying that democracy have come to stay in Nigeria.
The election which was said to have been observed by INEC officials and the media was said to be a free and fair election.
The chairman however said the party is ready for the forthcoming general election in 2023 where members of the party will come out and vote people of their choice.
Also speaking the chairman congress planning committee and national youth leader of the Peoples Redemption Party, Comrade Woliroh Olajide appreciated the conduct of the election and called on the newly elected officials to be up and doing in their respective offices.
We wish the new party leaders a successful stay in office and also for them to go far more than their expectations especially at forth coming 2023 elections
