Anambra Police Commissioner Echeng visits Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Valerian Okeke

Given the security challenges currently bedeviling the country and its negative consequences, especially in loss of lives and economic activities, the Commissioner Of Police Anambra State, Mr. Echeng Echeng has paid a visit to Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, His Grace Valerian Okeke in seeking a way forward.
Commissioner Echeng explained that the reason for the visit is to seek the collaboration of the Archbishop and his counsel on how to better secure the lives and properties of Ndi Anambra.
The Police Commissioner revealed that the sad incident at Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area, where mourners were killed during a funeral was a cult related incident.
He emphasized that arrests have been made and perpetrators won’t go unpunished, calling on Communities to duly inform the Police when such scenario are most likely to happen.
In his remark at the end of the visit, Archbishop Okeke noted that the visit is necessary and welcomed, as the Police needs the cooperation of people whom they are serving to do their job effectively.
The Archbishop went on and advised the youths against vices that are currently becoming a menace to the society especially cultism, internet scam and ritual killings.
He urged the youths to work hard and be patient with life, as money doesn’t solve all the problems of man.
